Training course entitled: (The general framework of the university legal system)
The training course for directors of departments and offices at the university, entitled "The University Legal System," began this morning, Sunday, January 18, 2026, in the meeting hall at the university administration building.
The first day of the course addressed the first topic, "The General Framework of the University Legal System," which focused on the legal foundations governing university work, the regulations and legislation governing university administration, and clarified legal jurisdictions and powers to contribute to strengthening administrative discipline and the smooth functioning of the university.
The sessions for this day were presented by Dr. Ali Khalifa Al-Dweib, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Gharyan, who reviewed the relevant legal concepts, supporting his points with practical examples and real-world applications from the university environment.
The course opened with a welcoming address by the university's training committee, which emphasized the importance of this course in raising the efficiency of administrative leaders and enhancing legal awareness, which will positively impact institutional performance.
