A scientific seminar entitled: The Libyan political roadmap… Lessons learned from previous political dialogues (Skhirat – Geneva – Tunis)

25 Dec, 2025

Today, the Faculty of Law at Gharyan University was more than just a lecture hall; it became a microcosm of the nation, a place where intellect sat alongside intellect, experience conversed with wisdom, and where differing opinions were heeded by the voice of the nation above all others.

A distinguished scholarly dialogue took place, attended by prominent national figures from various disciplines, representing all corners of the country. Their presence enriched the faculty and the discussion, elevating the dialogue to its true purpose:

A sincere search for solutions, not sterile arguments or narrow-minded alignments.

The gathering conveyed a powerful message: nations are not saved by loud voices, but by profound ideas; they are not built through exclusion, but through listening; and their wounds are only healed when scholars and thinkers come together at one table, disagreeing rationally, yet united in their love for the nation.

Such serious scholarly dialogues are not an intellectual luxury, but a national necessity, a safe path out of this predicament, and a compass that redirects discourse from emotion to vision, and from crisis to hope.
